How it Works

Is a natural vegetable protein with a sweet taste produced from the Thaumatococcus daniellii fruit, which is about 1300-1500 times sweeter than sucrose. Due to its small presence, thaumatin does not represent a significant amount of calories.

Is obtained from the leaves of the plant species native to South America, Stevia rebaudiana, the stevioside is 300 times sweeter than sucrose and has been used longer than any other sweetener, except honey. Stevia is not metabolized or caloric since it is almost completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is eliminated unchanged in the urine.

POLYOLS (Xylitol, Maltitol and Erythritol)

Are carbohydrates used to replace sugar that are slowly absorbed and metabolized by the body, a feature that prevents the elevation of glucose levels in the blood. Xylitol and Erythriol have a glycaemic index of less than 15 while Maltitol has a glycaemic index of less than 35.

How to Use

It can be used in any recipe to replace sugar. The proportion to be used is 1:2, each spoon of Sweetlift Cook is equal to two spoons of sugar.

Can be subjected to high temperatures, because its components neither suffer from degradation nor change in sweetness intensity.

Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects.
